Weapons of A New needed a website that could match the intensity of their sound and the polish of their brand. They didn’t just need an online presence—they needed a statement piece that would command attention, build credibility, and grow their audience.
This project became one of my most fully realized creative builds to date—from concept to execution. It was designed to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with major-label rock acts.
Note: The site is no longer maintained by the client. The original design is preserved here as a portfolio feature.
Art direction and design concept
Full WordPress website design & development
Branding alignment through color, layout, and typography
Copywriting for About page and full band bios
EPK-ready structure for media and booking
Scrollable endorsement logo integration per band member
Custom animated stats and career timeline features
Photo curation and layout design
Multimedia content strategy and presentation
The site was built to feel like the band sounds: aggressive, polished, and larger-than-life.
I used high-contrast visuals, bold typography, and layered design elements to evoke movement, energy, and grit. The homepage was structured to instantly hit visitors with the band’s image and sound—while guiding them toward new releases, media, and tour dates.
Each band member had a custom bio page featuring:
A professional photo
Custom-written biography text
A scrolling carousel of endorsement logos from brands like Gibson, Shure, Mesa Boogie, Dunlop, and Bogner
This wasn’t just informative—it created a sense of individual identity and professional clout for each member, showing their gear partnerships and musical background in a dynamic, eye-catching way.
This unique section used full-width, live performance backgrounds with translucent color overlays and moveable album covers to create a high-energy visual journey through the band’s history.
Layered album covers, tour visuals, and press features were displayed in a flowing, immersive format that walked fans through multiple releases, stylistic eras, and key moments in their career.
It was bold, artistic, and emotionally resonant.
The Online Press Kit (OPK) wasn’t just a file—it was a fully integrated section of the site designed to impress at a glance. It included:
Embedded music and videos
Downloadable high-res images
Animated rotating stat counters (e.g., listens, views, press features)
Clear contact info and calls to action for media and booking
This digital kit looked and felt like something built for a label showcase.
The site wasn’t just for show. It was built to convert:
Tour dates and ticket links were placed front and center
Music players were embedded to keep visitors listening
Press quotes and reviews created instant credibility
Social follow links and email signups offered easy connection
While the band later chose not to maintain their domain, this website remains one of my most complete representations of what custom design can do for a band ready to level up.
It turned heads, supported releases, and made the band look as serious and established as their sound. It was more than a website—it was a digital showcase of their identity.
Let’s build something unforgettable—even if the amps are off.
