Lana Blac Case Study
Lana Blac is a striking presence—a goth musician with an unmistakable aesthetic and a deeply emotional sound. She needed a website that wasn’t just dark, but immersive, minimal, and magnetic. Working from her vision of an all-black site, I built a fully custom digital space that reflected her identity without compromise.
But the story didn’t end there. As her career shifted from music to wellness, I continued designing for her—first with a one-page Reiki site, and later supporting her transition to co-owning a spa. This case study represents the power of partnership and the beauty of creative evolution.

Creative Direction & Challenges
Lana was clear: just a black-on-black site with pops of color that could embody her music and image. I layered charcoal tones, black-on-black textures, and grayscale photography to achieve visual depth without losing the minimal edge she wanted. This screenshot was taken during the design process.
The site was haunting, elegant, and intensely personal. It felt like stepping into her world.
Later, as she shifted into Reiki and eventually co-ownership of a wellness spa, I created a soft, minimal one-page site to support her new direction—one that felt peaceful, clean, and intentional. My job was never just to deliver a site. It was to honor the woman behind the art as she grew.
Now, I’m continuing that work by leading her marketing strategy for the spa—with a focus on modern, SEO-rich approaches that go beyond standard backlink tactics. We’re developing video content, planning a YouTube presence, and building a digital brand that actually sets the business apart.

Results & Reflection
Even though the original sites are no longer active, this project remains one of my most visually expressive and emotionally resonant builds. More importantly, it reflects my long-term support for clients through every creative season.
Now, I’m helping Lana move into a new chapter with strategic marketing and scalable growth—from content planning to SEO to digital visibility. Because it’s not just about launching a site. It’s about building what comes after.
