Case Study: Chicago Blues All-Stars – Electrifying the Legacy of Chicago Blues Online
The Chicago Blues All-Stars are more than a band—they’re a living tribute to the electrified soul of the Windy City. As a project led by Dr. Daniel “Chicago Slim” Ivankovich, this powerhouse group needed a custom website that captured their high-voltage performances, rotating lineup of elite musicians, and mission to honor the roots of blues while pushing it into the future.
I created a full custom WordPress site that gave the band a digital home worthy of their history and their energy. From live-streaming social feeds to performance calendars, from embedded music and videos to an online press kit, this site offers fans and industry insiders everything they need to connect, discover, and book the band.

Design Goals
The band’s live shows are intense, gritty, and unforgettable—and the site needed to reflect that same power and authenticity. I used bold imagery, dynamic layouts, and Chicago-style typography to reflect their sonic identity and presence on stage.
